Safety Services

BMS staff are proactive members of the team and can be counted on to ensure that safety is priority and preventing accidents is a major focus. Our staff will work with crew leads to ensure that safety policies are being followed by contractor’s staff and assisting with tailgate meetings, field level hazard assessments and emergency response plans.

Working Alone

BMS has designed a daily check in system that is outside of the normal on site check in with the client’s supervisor. Every morning as work is starting, a call will be placed to the BMS office where the office will record the time of the call and details of the work location for the day. At the end of the day, the staff member will call the office to report in that the work is complete for the day and the crew has safely returned.

Policy and Code of Contact

BMS has developed comprehensive policy and emergency response plans to ensure that safety is followed at all times and incidents are reported to ensure that possible conflicts are analyzed and dealt with accordingly.  Each new member of staff is required to sign the code of conduct which outlines their responsibilities and the company’s expectations for personal conduct and privacy.
